Two things.
One: Does anyone know The Traitor Game? It's this incredible book by B. R. Collins, and it's slashier than Merlin, but that isn't all of its appeal. It's these two boys, and they're both so very defensive, and there's one particular way each of them can hurt the other unimaginably badly, all the way to the core. And through this horrible misunderstanding, they both end up thinking the other has done that already, has struck out at them in that way, and they both make such awful mistakes and are acting out of such rage and pain, but it's all so vivid and you can tell in all these different points that they really, truly care about each other in a way that they don't care about anyone else, and they're hurting because it's such a close betrayal.
Anyway, I am in desperate need of fic for this, and most of the Internet seems completely unaware that the book exists. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is there a right direction for me to be pointed, or do I need to just start writing?Go away, bloody plotbunnies.
Two:
fandomgushing. Membership this morning? Around ten. I promo'd on
fanficrants and now? Fifty-seven members, sixty watchers, and the number keeps increasing. When I first got online, it was fifty, and I haven't been on very long.
There is HOPE for my baby.
