NaNoWriNO!

So, at the moment several of the active people on my flist have posted about NaNoWriMo. And little_details is full of NaNoWriMo-related posts. And there's the lj_nanowrimo comm sitting there tantalizingly on the front page. Waiting for me.

And all of this is a huge problem.

Why? 

Because I am not doing NaNoWriMo this year. I cannot. I am already busy, and will be getting even busier until mid-November (when things will slack of considerably, but still.) Sunday feels like weeks ago. I cannot handle the additional stress of a novel. I will resist the temptation.

(Instead, I will obsess over origfic_bingo. And finish those things I need to do.)

THERE IS A DEAD RODENT IN THE WALLS.

ROTTING.

STINKING.

STINKING UP THE LIVING ROOM, AND THE KITCHEN, AND MY BEDROOM.

DID I MENTION IT IS DEAD? AND ROTTING? AND STINKING?

OH, AND SHORT OF HITTING A HOLE IN OUR PAINSTAKINGLY PAINTED WALLS, THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. NOTHING BUT WAIT FOR THE SMELL OF ROTTING DEAD THINGS TO GO AWAY.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS AT ALL.

[At last my icon is appropriate to the post. I AM EXTREMELY ANNOYED ABOUT THIS. Although I doubt Revy would get that worked up about it, but still EW.]
